Pleasant surprise! Room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet despite the traffic on the nearby road. Excellent service from the receptionist, Fay, who was very helpful, especially with the Wi-Fi.- Quick and efficient breakfast service with a nearby Beefeater for a relaxing drink.
The air-conditioning in our room was not working. No safe in the room for valuable belongings.

This hotel is excellent value for money, with affordable prices that are hard to beat. The staff are attentive and go the extra mile, as evidenced by the breakfast lady who thoughtfully provided bananas and finger food for nervous guests. The location is also great, with a pub next door serving a decent menu, including vegan options. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean, providing basic amenities and facilities for the handicapped, such as grab handles and alarm cords. The breakfast is delicious, with perfectly cooked eggs served at 7:10.
All aspects of this hotel were fantastic.

Great experience, excellent location with good parking options, and comfortable beds.
The hotel lacked air conditioning which made the room a bit too warm during the night, and the noise of people walking upstairs was also disturbing. I spent Christmas in this budget hotel and overall, it was a great experience.

I had a great overnight stay at this hotel on the outskirts of Essex. The staff were very nice and the rooms were recently refurbished to a high standard. The attention to detail was impressive, with towels supplied and fast flowing water in the facilities. The hotel also has an onsite Beefeater restaurant, making it really convenient for breakfast.
All was perfect during my stay.
